Solid mass of the estérel

 It is about a primary education solid mass eruptive, composed of Porphyry for its central part, doubled sandstone and layers
of clay on its coastal part. Its climax is the Mount Vinegar (616 meters).

 The Solid mass is distributed on three communes: Frèjus, St Raphaël, Adrets.
 Many excursions await you, for example: The small valley of Perthus, the small valley of the Evil Infernet, the Mount
Vinegar and the peak of Aurelle (Seen panoramic), the cave of the co. Balsam, beaches and splits coastal.

Lake of the squirrel

This excursion is the continuity of that of the lake of the squirrel .....
The excursion starts vis-a-vis the carpark, after the passage of the barrier. After having traversed several hundred meters on the GR51, you will arrive rather quickly at the level of the ravine of the Evil Infernet. From this point, you will go along the river to the lake, this one brings a certain freshness to this quite arid landscape. On the way, some peaks of red rock as some small clear water reserves make their appearance before the arrival with the lake. After the second bridge, the following turn will make you discover the lake of the Squirrel. Made uneven, slightly in descent hitherto, becomes positive. The landscape changes also completely. The more you will go up for you approach the peak, the more the panorama gets clear. You will appreciate the ravine of the Layer of the ass as well as the ravine of the Balsam of the bear. Arrived at the peak, you will also be pleased to appreciate the majority of the tops of Esterel to the of the department of Var littoral.
